Abdul Hanan Mohammadi, a reporter of Pajhwok News Agency in Kapisa, was released after nearly four months of imprisonment.


Abdul Hanan Mohammadi, the reporter of Pajhwok News Agency and the deputy of the provincial office of the Afghan Independent Journalists Association in Kapisa, who was arrested nearly four months ago, was released before noon today.

The leadership of the Afghan Independent Journalists Association, that after Mr. Mohammadi’s imprisonment by the caretaker government’s intelligence department, during a trip to Kapisa province to meet with local and central officials, had repeatedly asked for Mr. Mohammadi’s release and they welcomed his release, and ask the relevant officials also to facilitate the release of Mirza Hasani and Khaled Qaderi.
