Hujatullah Mujadidi, president of the Afghan Independent Journalists Association, met with Mr. Anthony Bellanger Secretary General of the World Federation of Journalists at the organization’s headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, and discussed the problems of Afghan journalists and media and emphasized the material and spiritual support of international institutions, particularly the International Federation of Journalists from Afghan journalists.
While appreciating the performance of the leadership and members of the Free Journalists’ Union, who were in the most difficult situations with their partners, Mr. Bellanger emphasized on supporting Afghan journalists, supporting the Union’s plan to pay media employees and promising to share it with international institutions.
