A meeting of the joint committee of journalists was held with officials in Parwan province.

This committee has been established with the aim of creating greater coordination between journalists and local officials. Once a month, local officials and journalists of Parwan gather and discuss about the problems of journalists and possible solutions.

Mohammad Idris Anwari, deputy governor of Parwan province, is the head of this committee, and he said in this meeting, the officials are committed to ensure the safety of journalists, and the local administrations of Parwan must cooperate with the media in terms of access to information so that journalists could cover it well.
In this meeting, in addition to journalists’ access to information, the problems and challenges faced by journalists were also discussed.
