The senior officers of UNAMA media and human rights department spoke about the situation of journalists and freedom of expression in Afghanistan in a meeting with the leadership of the Afghan Independent Journalists Union

Hujatullah Mujadidi, President of the Afghan Independent Journalists Union, while speaking about the situation of journalists and freedom of expression in Afghanistan, asked UNAMA to pay serious attention to solving the economic problems of journalists.

Camilla Gebicki and Caroline, human rights and media officers, mentioned UNAMA’s commitment to support journalists, and promised that they will demand economic support for Afghan journalists and media from international organizations and countries defending freedom of expression.
