November 2nd is the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists.

Even though the statistics registered in this union show that the cases of violence against journalists this year have decreased by 39.2% compared to last year, i.e. 125 cases, unfortunately, out of these 76 cases Only 3 cases of violence against journalists have been referred to the court, the rest of the cases have not been dealt with through the judicial system, and the perpetrators of this violence have not been investigated.
Organizations defending the rights of journalists, while declaring their determination to pursue cases related to journalists, ask the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to speed up their determination to support journalists in order to prevent cases of violence against journalists and media workers, and to bring the perpetrators of such cases to justice.
