Tolo News reporter Ruhollah Sangar, who was arrested two days ago in Parwan, was released.
While welcoming the release of Mr. Sangar, the Afghan Independent Journalists Union requests the officials of the Islamic Emirate to follow up on cases related to media work through the Commission for Investigating Complaints and Investigating Media Violations.
The AIJU appreciates the efforts of the Directorate of Information and Culture of Parwan Province and other organizations that worked to free Mr. Sangar.
The Afghan Independent Journalists Union asks the authorities in the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the cases of Mr. Javadi and Mr. Mohammadi.
