Students from the Journalism Department of Kardan University visited the Afghan Independent Journalists’ Union on an educational field trip.

During the visit, Hujatullah Mujadidi, the head of the Union, provided the students with information about the history, responsibilities, and role of journalists’ associations in promoting solidarity, capacity building, and advocating for journalists’ rights.

Professor Noorullah Babakarkhail, head of the Journalism Department at Kardan University, along with a group of students, expressed appreciation for the association’s work for the Afghan media community and considered its existence valuable and essential for supporting journalists and media organizations.

Additionally, the students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of media in society by observing the activities of this journalism organization.
